Our 10-bed Chemical Dependency Unit is an acute detoxification center for adults trapped in a cycle of alcohol or drug abuse. Our team excels in working with the dual diagnosis condition of both abuse and psychiatric illness. Once a patient enters our detox care, they are introduced to a 12-step plan of recovery through both group and personal counseling sessions. Patients also participate in multiple Alcoholics Anonymous/Narcotics Anonymous type meetings while being treated. The following symptoms may indicate an issue that needs attention: Changes in personality, poor performance at work, black outs, financial issues, prescription drug abuse, troubled relationships with friends and family, inability to quit drinking or using drugs.
